Positive: The location is exceptional really beautiful. With great walking and a gorgeous swimming spot. The cottage also has a shared garden to relax in where you can here the river and look at the mountains. The host Bernardino is great, really welcoming he leaves basic supplies in accommodation and offers a free welcome drink. He gave us great recommendations for walking and on the day we left we had a flat car battery and he helped organise a mechanic to get us started . He even checked we arrived home safely. Thank you

Positive: Small houses in a mountain village where cows roam the roads. A very authentic place to live in nature and not rush anywhere. We enjoyed walking along the mountain paths, admiring the scenery and swimming in the river. Bernardino is a very hospitable host and was always in touch. Good luck and prosperity to you

Positive: Penedino Mountain Cottage is a fantastic place to stay in a beautiful spot. The house is picturesque, and the inside is well-equipped, well-maintained, and comfortable. Our unit had a washing machine, very convenient. It is a short walk to the village and Nossa Senhora da Peneda, and great hiking and swimming opportunities are very close by. The Penedino team was friendly, helpful, and responsive.

Negative: There was nothing we didn't like about Penedino itself. Peneda is not very accessible without a car. We had planned to spend a day walking there from Soajo but ended up getting a taxi due to rain. Weather was beautiful once we arrived, though.

Positive: Peneda is truly an amazing place for a nature getaway. Both the location and the house provide a very cozy rural experience. There are several beautiful hiking paths nearby. Finally, the hosts are extremely nice, provided several tips and suggestions on places to visit, hiking paths, restaurants, and had placed some snacks on the house for us upon our arrival. We are looking forward to return there in the future!

Positive: Penedino is in a great location especially if you want a quiet place to relax in the nature. The room and the kitchen are really well equipped, nothing was missing. The owner is really helpful and always available to provide suggestions on the best spots, hiking trails and food to enjoy Peneda area.

Negative: We stayed in the room downstairs and there was like a smell of humidity:we tried leaving windows and door open, but it didn't change. Maybe a dryer could help to fix it as it could be a little unpleasant
